Version 1.0.4 Launch

October 2026 · Chrome Web Store and Microsoft Edge Add-ons

The first public release. It includes everything in 1.0.0 below, plus these improvements made during store review:

  • Journeys never send data. Steps that would send a form or call an API are held while recording and replaying, including forms embedded from other services.
  • One scoring method. Quick Scan and scheduled scans give the same scores for the same page, and each scan is compared only with earlier scans of the same page.
  • EPIC's own look-ups (robots.txt, sitemaps) no longer count against a page's Network score.
  • One notification per scan instead of one per alert.
  • A site's own subdomains are no longer listed as third parties.
  • Files served from the browser cache now count at their real size where the browser allows it, labelled “(from cache)”.
  • Lighter background work on large scan histories.
  • Plainer licence messages when a key is unknown or an activation was removed.

Version 1.0.0

Feature set at launch

Plans

  • Free Website Intelligence, Observe + Reporting ($6.99/month) and Modify + Reporting ($9.99/month). Reporting is included in both paid plans.

New

  • Journeys: record contact forms, sign-ups and checkouts (desktop or mobile); runs report Passed, Passed with changes or Broken, with a visual lens and “accept as the new normal”. Forms are checked, never sent.
  • Resilience Intelligence: a readiness score for traffic spikes and common attacks, from evidence only.
  • Dependencies & Redirects: first/third-party dependencies, 110 known services, change insights, and site-wide redirect health.
  • Visual Timeline: a screenshot with every scan, compared side by side, highlighted or swiped.
  • History with a full Change Log: 100+ measurements and every file compared between scans; 30/60/90-day history on Observe, up to a year on Modify; storage view, downloads, weekly export and a reminder before anything is removed.
  • Marketing: tags, pixels and consent audit, social previews, links & UTMs, schema validator.
  • Quality: console errors, failed requests and a before/after deploy check.
  • Site Scan: up to 100 pages with issues ranked across the site.
  • HTTP & API security: header grade with fixes, cookie flags, CORS, SRI, exposed keys, source maps and a JWT inspector.
  • Weekly digest, role-based layouts, passive checks and copy-as-GitHub/Jira issue.
  • Encrypted storage for saved API snippets.

Design

  • A new modern interface with the four main areas in a bottom bar (a floating dock in wider windows).
  • Observe regrouped into six items; Intelligence grouped into three labelled rows.
